About The Literary and Spectral Summit

Let's face it, literature and history can be a little dry. That's why we're taking a different approach. Instead of boring readings of classic stories or fact filled bullet points about history, we take it one step further.

We bring history and literature to life with professional voice actors! In The Literary Summit, students explore the chilling and imaginative stories of Edgar Allan Poe, including The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, and Annabel Lee. We'll also look at authors like O'Henry, Dorothy Parker and Emily Dickenson.

In The Spectral Summit, our high school newspaper editor Sierra, who can see and talk to spirits, is able to uncover parts of President Harding’s life and that of his First Lady, Florence in Legacy in Limbo. We'll also examine Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt's legacies. Through discussion, storytelling, and creative activities, students build confidence, spark imagination, and experience the past like never before.
